Due to extraordinary demand and the speed of ticket sales, Cold Chisel will extend its Light The Nitro Tour to include three additional shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane early this December.
With more than 200,000 tickets being sold in the past week, the band will do an extra show in Adelaide (Monday, 5 December), Melbourne (Friday, 9 December) and Brisbane (Tuesday, 13 December). Tickets for all three shows will go on sale at midday today (9th August).
Fans from Perth, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong are also desperate for more shows and they are trying to squeeze in as many as possible without compromising the quality of their performance or production in any way.
Additionally, last week Cold Chisel issued a statement after becoming aware that tickets were being resold at hugely inflated prices on various sites, such as eBay and Facebook. Powerless to stop this action, the band knows that some tickets being offered for sale are either not legitimate or are making false and misleading representations. As Cold Chisel adds more shows, it implores fans not to purchase unauthorised tickets as their validity cannot be guaranteed.
