Chris Martin-led pop-rockers Coldplay need 250 smiling fans to join them in Newtown today to film a music video for A Sky Full Of Stars, a cut from their most recent album, Ghost Stories.
The English band put out a call on Twitter late last night, saying, “We’re shooting the video for A Sky Full Of Stars on the streets of Sydney tomorrow. Does anyone want to be in it!?”
“250 fans needed for #ASFOSvideo tomorrow (tues),” the band later posted. “Meet 11.30am at courthouse hotel, 202 Australia St, Newtown, Sydney. Bring a smile.”
The band have also told fans that only the first 250 people will be allowed to take part, after one fan suggested that Coldplay are “probably going to get 2,500 people outside the hotel”.
Coldplay are in town for a special one-off promotional concert at The Enmore Theatre in Sydney on the night of Thursday, 19th June.
Listen to A Sky Full Of Stars, below. Or run down to Newtown as quickly as you can.
