Electronic duo Collarbones have been added to the lineup for Sydney’s annual New Year’s Day festival, Field Day.
Taking to Facebook, Field Day organisers have confirmed Collarbones will perform at the festival, which will also see sets from the likes of alt-J, SBTRKT, Jamie xx, Peking Duk and Danny Brown.
Collarbones have taken to Facebook themselves, to share their excitement. “When Fuzzy asked us to play Feild Day we were stunned,” the duo posted. “Who knows what will happen after this dream is realised?” View their Facebook post in full, below.
The project of Adelaide’s Travis Cook and Sydney’s Marcus Whale, Collarbones released their super-impressive third album Return in November, the follow-up to 2012’s Die Young. Catch the 90s-esque music video for album cut Turning, below.
The pair recently performed at Sydney’s OutsideIn, and have supported acts such as Deerhunter, Jessie Ware and How To Dress Well in the past. Collarbones also performed collaboratively with Synergy Percussion at Vivid Sydney in June.
Field Day 2015 will take place in The Domain in Sydney. View the full festival lineup alongside ticket details, below.
