Corey Taylor ‘Feeling Better’ About Recording New Slipknot Album

Corey Taylor has been skeptical about recording a new Slipknot album since the death of bassist Paul Gray in May 2010. Yesterday Taylor held an online book reading via livestream and said he is “feeling better” about recording again.

When asked how he felt about making a new Slipknot album, said: “I feel better about it, but I’m still kind of on the fence. We’re taking baby steps and we’re going to take our time.”

He also spoke about the Sonisphere show and thanked everyone for joining in 2 minutes of silence to remember Gray. He said: “I did enjoy the show, the whole tour has been great, thank you to everyone who came and everyone who participated in the two minutes of silence for Pauly, he would have been so proud.”
