US Southern punk-metal pioneers Corrosion Of Conformity are returning to Australia for their first tour since 2014.
Now reunited with frontman Pepper Keenan, the North Carolina band — bassist Mike Dean, drummer Reed Mullin, and guitarist Woody Weatherman — will head to our shores in February of 2020 for a fistful of headlining dates in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
C.O.C. established a reputation in the early ’80s as one of the heavy music world’s most uncompromising bands, unrelentingly delivering crushing riffs and blistering live performances.
The band are perhaps best known for their 1985 album, Animosity, which is still hailed as one of the most important crossover albums of all time. Fans and critics alike continue to laud Animosity for providing a bridge between the worlds of metal and punk to forge an entirely new sonic headspace.
Pepper Keenan returned to the band for 2018’s massive No Cross No Crown album, which charted around the world, including Australia.
