The annual Queenscliff Music Festival has made its first major lineup announcement for 2018, and it’s topped by the likes of singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, indie heroes The Whitlams and the one and only Sarah Blasko.
The Victorian festival is also scheduled to host performances from the likes of country gal Kasey Chambers, comedy troupe Tripod, hip hop crew The Herd and Milk Records artist Fraser A. Gorman this November.
Late Indigenous musician Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu will also be honoured with a performance of his final album Djarimirri (Child of the Rainbow), from a 16-piece Australian National Academy of Music orchestra.
International acts like Hawaii’s Donovan Frankenreiter and Japanese funk orchestra Osaka Monaural are also booked to perform.
