The Australian Open is just around the corner, and now the country’s greatest tennis event has gotten its absolutely killer live music lineup.
Leading the lineup is UK R&B superstar Craig David and fellow Brits Bastille. Joining them are homegrown heroes Dean Lewis and Angus & Julia Stone, who’ll be playing the final day of the event.
Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley released a statement on why 2019’s event will provide a whole new and improved experience for fans.
“The AO Live Stage has become a ‘must do’ experience at the Australian Open for so many tennis and music fans and it gets bigger each year,” he said.
“We are excited about changing the space to include a lot more shade, which will make it even more enjoyable and comfortable, and of course presenting another world class line-up of both local and international acts.”
This is only the start of the acts that will play the event, with more acts to be announced over the coming week.
