Western Australia, a state often left off your average touring circuit, is currently laughing at the rest of country as they prepare for their first full live concert since the country went into lockdown back in March.
The concert, titled ‘WA Unlocked’ and put on by VenuesWest and Castaway, is set to take place at Perth’s HBF Stadium next month, and will feature performances from Crooked Colours, Slumberjack, Shockone with Reija Lee and Tina Says.
“It’s so exciting to see the live entertainment industry get back on its feet so quickly with this amazing event,” VenuesWest COO Peter Bauchop said.
“This is just the first of many concerts that will be held at a VenuesWest venue in support of music in WA, giving the local economy a much-needed boost.”
This announcement comes after restrictions on live music were almost completely lifted this past weekend, and the announcement of the first festival to hit the state with Wine Machine going ahead this October.
