Culture Club’s Australian tour earlier in the year was the band’s first Aussie tour in a decade, and they clearly have no plans of leaving fans waiting that long again, today announcing their return down under a mere six months later. But, I mean, who’s complaining?
In the band’s own words, “You simply can’t get rid of us that easily.” Culture Club will be back in town this December, hitting cities who weren’t included in their earlier run, which appears to have been a screaming success for all involved.
Culture Club’s new Australian tour will include Tasmania and Melbourne as the only main cities, with other shows happening more regionally across the Gold Coast, Barossa Valley and the Hunter Valley.
The encore dates will feature the band’s original Boy George-fronted lineup, and all of their fan-favourite hits. They’ll also be supported by a bunch of Aussie acts, including the likes of Pseudo Echo, Kids In the Kitchen and Wa Wa Nee.
Currently, Culture Club are promoting a new album, Tribes, which is still without an official release date. Catch the band’s new Australian tour dates, below.
