American music icon Cyndi Lauper is set to embark on her farewell tour. The tour, dubbed the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” journey, celebrates her illustrious career spanning over four decades. Lauper has not yet spoken to the press or posted on social media about the tour, but the dates have been confirmed.
The tour will kick off in Montreal on October 18 and will conclude on December 5 in Chicago. This 23-date tour will see Lauper performing in various cities throughout October, November, and December.
There is speculation about whether this US farewell tour will be followed by additional dates in Australia. Lauper’s upcoming performance at the UK’s Glastonbury Festival on June 29 has also sparked rumors of possible UK shows following the festival.

Cyndi Lauper is set to discuss her farewell tour and documentary on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on June 5. Australian fans are especially keen to hear if she will mention any future tour dates down under during her appearance on the show.
Earlier this year, in March, Cyndi Lauper joined music legend Sir Rod Stewart for a series of shows in Australia.
