British punk rockers The Damned have annonced a string of Australian tour dates for 2017 as part of their 40th anniversary tour.
With 10 studio albums under the belt, The Damned remain to this day icons of rock, despite a series of lineup changes over the years. Forming in 1976, The Damned performed their first ever gig at the legendary 100 Club, supporting The Sex Pistols, and now, 40 years later, they’re bringing their classics and some new material down under for a five-date Aussie tour including a set at Golden Plains Festival.
Their current lineup includes founding members Captain Sensible on guitar and evergreen vocalist David Vanian, as well as long serving members Punch, Stu West and Monty Oxy Moron.
As they gear up to release their 11th album, The Damned will be bringing Aussies one of the first glimpses of the forthcoming record.
