Dynamic Melburnite Dan Sultan has emerged after time in Nashville’s legendary Blackbird Studio with award-winning producer Jacquire King, bearing a brand new slice of soulful rock & roll. Titled Under Your Skin, it’s the first taste of Sultan’s forthcoming third LP, due for release in early 2014.
“It’s a pretty dark track. But it’s a love song,” said Sultan of his latest single, which comes accompanied by a sultry new video featuring the Bangarra Dance Theatre dancers, with whom Sultan worked in the film Brand Nue Dae, and directed by Stephen Page.
Sultan is currently wowing fans and newcomers alike on his ‘Back To Basics’ solo tour, which continues this Friday at The Gov in Adelaide. Following two shows in Western Australia, Sultan will be joining rock legend Bruce Springsteen for his Melbourne and Hunter Valley shows.
