If you needed more proof that Dave Grohl is a man of the people, the Foo Fighters frontman proved he can mix it with the best of us at a gig when he was spotted in the crowd at a Metallica show recently.
He was the subject of several selfies by some eagle eyed fans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, who managed to grab his attention and also take a couple of pics of Grohl singing along to James Hetfield and co.
“One of lots of reasons to love dave grohl: dave grohl standing in the crowd at a metallica concert, just like an ordinary dude,” tweeted one fan.

It may not surprise those already keenly aware of Grohl’s affinity for Metallica. In a 2015 interview with Creative Loafing he proclaimed he was “a diehard Metallica fan until the day I die.”
Foo Fighters are gearing up to release their new album Concrete And Gold on September 15th, and it has already been revealed that the new record will feature Paul McCartney.
