Brisbane’s favourite progressive rock outfit, Dead Letter Circus, have announced a new 19-date tour, which will see them sweep across regional Australia. ‘The Insider Tour’ kicks off this May and serves as the follow-up to their massive co-headline tour with old mates Karnivool back in January.
The band’s sophomore album, The Catalyst Fire, debuted at #2 on the ARIA Charts back in August 2013 and was a Triple J feature album of the week. The boys continued the success of the record by unveiling three epic singles, including their latest cut, Insider, a live favourite for the band.
The album’s first two singles — Lodestar and I Am — also served as the beginning of a music video trilogy, which according to frontman Kim Benzie, is set in “the possible future where people are being systematically divided, emotionally and spiritually, in an almost factory farm way.”
Having travelled the globe over the past three years, including gigs in the US, the UK, Europe, and South Africa, this Brisbane five-piece is ready to return to the Australian live circuit and will be bringing fellow Brisbane outfit Like Thieves along for what’s sure to be an epic ride.
