Death Grips Announce New Album ‘Bottomless Pit’

Death Grips are definitely not breaking up (for now) and have taken to Facebook to announce that they have “decided to make a new Death Grips album and it will be called Bottomless Pit

The album will follow up this year’s Jenny Death and while we have no idea when we might see it, the announcement also comes with an accompanying video of the late Karen Black, star of such films as Easy Rider, The Great Gatsby, Nashville and more, reading dialogue written by Death Grips drummer Zach Hill.

The dialogue was set to be part of a film Hill was developing, with the footage being taken after Hill and Black met through friends, hitting it off immediately.

Filmed the year that she died, the footage has an eerie haunting quality to it due in part to Hill’s disturbingly absurd words and the fact that we now know how close to death Black was.
