Due to overwhelming demand Def FX will add 3 more shows to their upcoming reunion tour. As well as shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, DEF FX will also hit Hobart, Adelaide and Perth for their ramped-up national tour. Tickets for the new shows go on sale on Tuesday February 28.
Formed in Sydney in 1990, DEF FX carved out a unique place in Australian music. At the core of the band’s success and their critical and public attention was their inimitable blend of electronic beats and samples, rock/metal instrumentation and grunge vocals, which saw them draw comparisons with artists as disparate as Pink Floyd, Metallica and The Prodigy.
They broke up in 1997, after their final, and by far their most successful, album Majick.
Since then, Horne followed up with musical releases Shut Up and Kiss Me with Paul McDermott and a solo single Let’s Go Out Tonight before becoming a successful author, writing various books, two autobiographies and guides to the Wicca, for which she has a strong belief and interest.
Tickets for the new shows are on sale 9am Tuesday February 28th
