Deni Blues and Roots Festival will be back in 2014 for its sophomore year, today unveiling a killer first lineup announce, starring Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Mayer, funk legends Dr John & The Nite Trippers and classic rock outfit The Doobie Brothers.
They’ll be joined by indie folk favourites Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Texan blues sensation Gary Clark Jr, Aussie legend Russell Morris, rising country star Jasmine Rae and the dark blues stylings of Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, with even more musical talent to be unveiled in the coming months.
The festival had a massive debut earlier this year, winning the Best Festival Award at the Inland Tourism Awards and featuring an impressive lineup headed up by Santana, Status Quo and Jason Mraz. Round two is set to take place over the 2014 Easter weekend, 19th and 20th April, at the Deni Ute Muster site in Deniliquin in southern New South Wales, with on-site camping available.
Early bird tickets go on sale from Wedensday, 16th October, with general public tickets available from 9:00am AEST on Monday, 21st October, 2013 on the Deni Blues Festival website.
