Dillon Francis and NGHTMRE released their much-anticipated collaborative moombahton effort Need U a few days ago, and now Francis has followed it up with a typically eccentric music video.
For the uninitiated – Dillon Francis has built a huge fan-base from a combination of his killer party-centric music and his constantly engaging and hilarious social media presence. A large part of which involves the California-based producer’s adoption of a variety of alter-ego’s in his everyday activites – and then documenting his shenanigans on Snapchat and Instagram.
In the Jack Wagner-directed video, Francis appears as one of his alter many ego’s ‘DJ Dillon Francis’ – a typical money-hungry DJ sporting some pretty sweet speed dealers, who specialises in playing birthdays, weddings, quinceañera’s, corporate events and youth retreats.
The story follows our hero as he rocks up to a suburban birthday party, hungover and on the prowl for the birthday cougar, who mistakenly introduces him to the party as ‘Darren’. Then things start to get real, as Need U plays and sends the partygoers into a frenzy. The rest cannot be explained, but can be viewed below.
Francis was typically stoked with the amount of shares and views on the video; at the time of writing it had over 100,000 views.
Thank you to everyone who is sharing the music video I’m so fucking happy right now
