New South Wales’ Grow Your Own festival has unveiled its 2019 lineup, topped by the likes of homegrown rockers DMA’S, Hockey Dad and The Preatures.
Returning to Forster-Tuncurry in January next year, the festival will also feature sets from the likes of indie pop act Mallrat, surf rockers Goons Of Doom and (of course) festival creator Holly Rankin (AKA Jack River).
“We’re deeply excited to present Grow Your Own’s biggest line up yet, with acts coming from all over the country as well as many from our own backyard,” says Rankin.
“Our homegrown ethos runs through every cell of the festival, right down to the fences and the food – it’s our mission to value all things local, sustainable and alive. We wanted to create the perfect getaway, full of summer anthems and all the grit and guitars that make Australian music feel like home.”
Rankin’s company Hopeless Utopian recently announced a partnership with Splendour In The Grass and Falls Festival producers Secret Sounds, allowing Grow Your Own to expand with an increased capacity, art installations and an expansive Growers area featuring local producers, farmers and artisans.
