Dolly Parton Thinks Beyoncé’ Covered ‘Jolene’ For Upcoming Country Album ‘Act II’

American country Icon Dolly Parton has surprised her fans with news that Beyoncé has covered her legendary song “Jolene” for her upcoming album, Act II. In an interview with Knox News on Friday, 8th March, Dolly Parton expressed this possibility to her fans.

“Well, I think she has! I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that,” Parton revealed to Knox News on Friday, March 8.

Dolly Parton Also Shared A Statement And Expressed Herself As A Big Fan Of Beyonce

In another statement via her Instagram post, Dolly Parton revealed her admiration for Beyoncé and anticipation for the full album. “I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album”. She said. “So congratulations on your Billboard  Hot Country number one single, can’t wait to hear the full album!”

Dolly Partons’ “Jolene,” originally released in 1974, has become a timeless classic, and Beyoncé’s rendition marks a significant moment in her exploration of the country genre.

The connection between the two artists runs deep, with Parton recalling mutual appreciation over the years. Beyoncé and her mother have been longtime fans of Parton’s music, further solidifying their bond.
