Douzey has released her new EP titled ‘Discard’. Full of quirky anecdotes and undeniably lyrical, “Discard” promises to take listeners on a lively journey through the absurdities and disappointments of life.
Douzey explained about her EP by saying. “‘Discard’ is a collection of diss tracks that reflect my abundant ability to write when I’m mad, “Each song is a playful jab at the annoyances and absurdities of everyday life, from dealing with crappy housemates and landlords to poking fun at my younger self.”

Douzey is creative and determined in a new way, and she’s ready to rid the world of Discard. The three-song EP crosses genres from groovy funk to playful pop to upbeat rock.’
“The EP opens with ‘Peachy’, a song where Douzey is humorous. reflects her younger self with self-deprecating wit. The other song “Toxic Rain” is followed by pop-bop that deals with the challenges of shared housing and the rising cost of living with a light touch. The EP ends with Pavement, a catchy and soulful look at the corporate world and its superficiality.
