Chet Faker is being a real dude today by offering punters a free 3-track EP, entitled The Live Sessions EP, of some (guess what?) live recordings he did last year.
The EP was recorded “over a few sunny days” in October 2012 at an old butter factory in Newstead, Victoria. Included on the EP is his interpretation of UK producer Burial‘s track Archangel along with live renditions of his songs Love And Feeling and No Diggity.
Chet Faker released his debut EP Thinking in Textures last year to a big dose of critical acclaim, and he’s currently working on his first full-length album. Faker will also be supporting Flume on his hotly-hyped Infinity Prism national tour around Australia in late April and early May, before heading over to Europe for a string of solo dates there.
