The Drones‘ frontman Gareth Liddiard has announced a solo Australian tour.
Liddiard will play six dates along the east coast of the country between March and April, dropping solo songs and some Drones favourites. He’ll also be previewing songs from his new yet-to-be-named band with fellow Drones bandmate Fiona Kitschin.
For those heading along to his gig in Sydney, you’ll also be witnessing the last day of operation for Newtown Social Club. The beloved Sydney venue will close its doors after Liddiard’s show, but what a way to go out.
The Drones released their seventh album Feelin Kinda Free just last year, before Liddiard headed off to spend some time in South America.
