Foo Fighters‘ first concert for 2019 has been hijacked by a drunk fan, who left frontman Dave Grohl literally rolling on the floor, laughing.
It all happened during the Foos’ private show at Hard Rock in Las Vegas last week, as part of the annual Consumer Electronics Show.
The concert saw Grohl fall off stage at one point after chugging a beer, but it turns out it also saw a middle-aged fan by the name of ‘Jay from Bombay’ steal the show after making his way onto the stage.
Video from the show (below) sees Jay being welcomed onstage by Grohl, who tells him, “You look like me about an hour-and-a-half ago,” before describing his daggy dance moves as “office party shit”.
Grohl and Jay proceed to drink champagne and dance together, before the band performs a cover of The Faces’ ‘Stay With Me’, much to Jay from Bombay’s amusement.
“Let’s do it again,” he says after the song, before trying to climb Taylor Hawkins’ drum riser, almost falling over and being removed by security.
“His ass is so fired, I don’t know who he works for,” Grohl tells the crowd. “How the fuck are we gonna top Jay from Bombay? It ain’t gonna happen.”
