Dubstep Goes Hollywood With ‘Snap’

From the people who brought you Filly Brown, a hip hop-driven drama (currently showing at this year’s Sundance), comes Snap, a dubstep-driven drama.

According to Empire Online, Snap is based around an extraordinary yet shy musician, played by Jake Hoffman (Dustin Hoffman’s son), who expresses himself through dance. Trouble ensues when the introverted dancer develops a crush on his social-worker, who will be played by Nikki Reed (of Twilight fame). When the relationship sours things go horribly wrong, with an ending that promises to be as tragic as the premise of the film itself.

Production of Snap is set to begin in March.
