DZ Deathrays Announce ‘Get Rich Or Drunk Tryin’ Tour

Brisbane rockers DZ Deathrays are set to hit the road again. The duo, who have just added another ARIA to their collection, will take their Get Rich Or Drunk Tryin’ Tour through intimate Australian venues in February and March.

DZ Deathrays’ 2015 tour will give fans in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Bunbury, Fremantle, Sydney and Brisbane a chance to see the band back in action, backed by their second studio album, Black Rat, and maybe even that Christmas-themed cover song.

DZ Deathrays toured the UK, Europe, America and New Zealand behind the album’s release in May, played a coast-to-coast Australian tour, and performed at festivals such as Big Day Out, Splendour In the Grass and The Blurst Of Times.

Black Rat went on to win the 2014 ARIA Award for Best Heavy/Hard Rock Release, with vocalist/guitarist Shane Parsons telling Music Feeds that he had “zero expectations” prior to winning the award.

The Get Rich Or Drunk Tryin’ Tour will be some of DZ Deathrays’ final Black Rat album shows, and will be supported by American band Bass Drum Of Death and Aussie surf-rockers Hockey Dad. The tour will begin in Melbourne on 27th February, and finish up at Wollongong’s Farmer And The Owl Festival on 14th March.
