Perth is getting a new series of events, dubbed Raised In The City, the first of which will be headlined by none other than the nation’s favourite hyper active party punks DZ Deathrays.
It’s not just the Brisbane two piece however, the lineup also featuring the likes of Trophy Eyes, Luca Brasi, The Love Junkies and Foam. The event is scheduled for Friday 19th February at Amplifier Capitol in Perth.
Going from house party stars to ARIA winners, ‘the rays’ haven’t lost any of that tumultuous energy that made them famous in the first place, while still maturing as songwriters (a little). Yet another band featured on the Groovin The Moo line-up you can probably expect a sideshow announcement from these guys later in the day.
The rest of the lineup has plenty to get excited about with Trophy Eyes fresh from performing at Unify : Gathering, and Luca Brasi steaming ahead on their own tour supporting their single Aeroplane. Meanwhile The Love Junkies and Foam have the home front covered, representing WA.
