Ed Sheeran, alt-J and Garbage to Feature in Mushroom 50 Live TV Broadcast

Mushroom 50 Live is happening at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Sunday, 26th November. The event is set to be broadcast on Australian television, screening from 7:00pm on Channel 7 and 7plus. The television broadcast will feature exclusive performances from UK acts alt-J, Ed Sheeran, and Garbage.

There’ll also be a pre-recorded performance of Youth Group playing their hit cover of Alphaville’s ‘Forever Young’ with a little help from Budjerah, Mia Wray and Sam Smith. Goanna, WILSN, Lotte Gallagher and Logan have been added to the lineup for the Rod Laver gig. Find the complete lineup below.

Mushroom 50 Live to be broadcast on Channel 7

Mushroom 50 Live is part of this year’s ALWAYS LIVE program. The one-night mini-festival is the latest in a series of 50th birthday celebrations for the Mushroom Group, the music company founded by the late Michael Gudinski in the early 1970s.

The lineup features many of the Mushroom Group’s most successful artists, including Hunters & Collectors, Christine Anu, Paul Kelly, Deborah Conway (and Willy Zygier), Vika & Linda, Cold Chisel’s Jimmy Barnes and Ian Moss, and more. Contemporary acts Amy Shark, DMA’S, merci, mercy, The Teskey Brothers and Gordi are also on the bill.
