Post Malone is a man of many tastes. While his music resides in some weird realm between pop and hip-hop, he also lends his taste to more alternative music – case in point: his obsession with Fleet Foxes.
Now, a video has been posted to Post Malone’s photographer Adam Degross’ Instagram page of Malone having a very passionate singalong to the band’s 2011 deep cut ‘The Shrine/An Argument’ taken from Helplessness Blues – in a cowboy hat and while smoking a cigarette, of course.
Pitchfork reports that Malone has been a Fleet Foxes die-hard fan since day one, noting that he tweeted in 2015 “If you don’t like Fleet Foxes, then fuck you.” Words to live by.
The two entities had a crossing of worlds with the release of Malone’s latest album Hollywood’s Bleeding. The track ‘Myself’ was co-written with Father John Misty aka Josh Tillman aka ex-Fleet Foxes drummer.
