Every Time I Die Guitarist Says He Saved A Fan’s Life By Accidentally Spitting Beer In Her Eye

The simulation gets ever stranger.

Every Time I Die guitarist Jordan Buckley has taken to Twitter to recount the story of how he accidentally spat his beer into a female fan’s eye, which somehow accidentally saved her life.

In a story that’s a wild ride from start to finish, Buckley tells of his experience meeting a fan who told him that he once spat some beer in the air which landed in her eye, which ultimately had an effect on her health.

“A lady came up to me and said ‘I saw you guys a little bit ago, and you spit beer in the air, and I was in front and some got in my eye’,” Buckley tweeted. “I apologized. Said our shows get wacky, never know what’s gonna happen. I was probably just trying to mimic someone way cooler than me.

“She said the next day it was still bothering her. And she thought her eye was infected so she went to the doctor. I apologized 10 more times. Braced myself for a lawsuit.

“So she went to the doctor. They did tests. Doctor said she didn’t have an eye infection, she had a brain tumor, but they caught it early enough to perform surgery and remove it.

“She said it never would have gotten caught had she not gone in. She then thanked me for saving her life.

“Point being… if you come to an ETID show, it could save your life.”

We don’t really recommend having someone beer spit in your eye to help you detect a brain tumour, but the ends justifies the means, right?

This is just the latest in the incredibly bizarre trajectory ETID have taken recently, from Buckley finding out he was being sued on Twitter for allegedly injuring someone’s head with a stage dive to bassist Steve Micchiche almost missing a show because he was stuck on the toilet.
