A Queensland market performer has caught the attention of Violent Soho with his cover of the band’s song ‘Like Soda’.
A “mate” of the band filmed someone covering the song at Milton Markets in Queensland and the band has posted it on social media.
It’s getting plenty of attention with many fans digging the guitar-led cover of the song.
The performer’s name is Mat Burton (AKA Elder), and he’s gained plenty of new fans for the performance, which he probably didn’t know would reach Violent Soho so quickly.
‘Like Soda’ is off the band’s most recent record Waco which was released in 2016. It was also triple j listeners favourite album of the year.
