Starting from 2:30pm AEDT this afternoon, Californian power pair Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards will be live and loud on your interwebs via this very page, and if you’re yet to snap up tickets to their promo shows in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend this preview is gonna seal that deal for you – this power pair are renowned for their blistering live performances. Exciting!
Following the performance, the Deap Vally gals will be sitting down for a live one-on-one with Music Feeds for a chat about their upcoming, brilliantly titled debut record, Sistrionix, their high-profile supporters (and detractors) and we may even address their plans for future tours Down Under (Splendour, anyone?!)
With a bluesy rock sound reminiscent of other rough and ready duos such as The White Stripes and The Mess Hall, Deap Vally have already supported the likes of The Vaccines, Eagles of Death Metal and Muse since forming less than 2 years ago. Sistrionix will be released in May 2013, and singles End Of The World and Lies have already caught the attention of music tastemakers the world over.
