Philadelphia based soul-pop musician Son Little has already reached some pretty killer heights in his fledgling career, touring with the likes of Kelis and Mumford & Sons and playing at the huge Bonaroo festival in the states, all before having released an LP.

Difficult to pin down sonically, Son Little’s debut can be summed up as “American”, delving into bluesy, rootsy material, dusty southern guitar licks and some deep soul with hip-hop and RnB flourishes. Yep, it’s a dense outing into almost every sound one would encounter on a coast-to-coast US trip and it makes for some truly unique, affecting music.
