Melbourne music conference Face The Music is back for another year, today announcing its first lineup of speakers for 2017.
Taking place as part of Melbourne Music Week this November, Face The Music will host speeches from artists like Ariel Pink (who’ll host a keynote while he’s in town on tour), punk legend Marky Ramone (who’ll also be on tour down under), homegrown rapper Mallrat and Torontonian rapper Chippy Nonstop.
Industry heads will also be sharing their knowledge, including the likes of triple j‘s Music Director Nick Findlay, FKP Scorpio booking agent Silke Westera and Collective Artists’ Rebecca Young. Peep the full first list of speakers, below.
As always, Face The Music 2017 is promising to host creative workshops, discussion panels and live performances alongside its speaking events, and more speakers are set to be revealed “soon”.
Melbourne Music Week is now in its eighth year, and will bring a whole lotta’ sights and sounds to the city between 17th and 25th November. The full program announcement will arrive next month.
