Get set to devour the first slice of moody indie rock from Fait Accompli – ‘Ride’ is the first single to be lifted from the Sydney band’s debut album and will be available through iTunes on Friday 19 June. And to celebrate its release, Fait Accompli will be playing single launches along the east coast throughout July and August.
Catch Fait Accompli on Saturday 11 July at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney, Saturday 18 July at Valley Studios in Brisbane, Sunday 19 July at Neverland on the Gold Coast, and Saturday 1 August at The Evelyn in Melbourne.
In late 2008 Fait Accompli enlisted the help of close friend Ian Pritchett (The Beautiful Girls, Angus & Julia Stone) and made their way into the recording studio. After six days of recording and mixing, the band emerged with their debut album Dreams and their first single ‘Ride’.
Fait Accompli has always taken a DIY approach to music. Since their inception in 2007, they’ve produced and self released two EPs, played around 150 shows up and down the east coast, and developed a stable live following.
