Statement via Falls Festival website:
It’s with a happy face that we can say the 2012 Falls ticket ballot is now open!
If you’re feeling lucky, enter here. We’ll be locking up the barrel in a matter of weeks, so don’t leave it too late. Those who strike it rich will be sent a golden code, which you’ll be able to use to purchase tickets, so keep an eye on your ol’ inbox.
How does the ballot work?
Much like a lottery, lucky names will be randomly drawn from our cyber space hat. Anyone who entered will be notified of their triumphs or lack thereof by email.
Successful confirmation emails will contain a unique golden token to purchase tickets with. This is only valid for one transaction during the ballot tickets sales period or until the subscriber ticket allocation has sold out. Remember folks, more lucky tokens are sent out than there are tickets available, so tickets may sell out in the first few days of going on sale. Simply receiving a lucky token doesn’t guarantee a ticket. So, if you have a token and know you want to be at Falls this year, don’t sit on it. Remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public.
