Shaking loose with sophomore album Dr Boondigga & The Big BW, soul kings Fat Freddy’s Drop are back for two quick Aussie stops this October. Taking to the stage in Melbourne and Sydney the band that is without a doubt one of New Zealand’s finest exports will be ripping it up with music from their new album.
With a solid running time of seventy minutes, Dr Boondigga & The Big BW features nine tracks of indefinable music born from Freddy’s live jams, fantastic voyages & many hours of beat reduction & sonic fine tuning.
Fat Freddy’s Drop has paid several visits to Australia in 2009 – headlining the inaugural Days Like This! Festival in January and landing again in March for a whirlwind Dr Boondigga & The Big BW pre-release teaser tour.
