Sydney’s favourite community radio station, FBi Radio, have just announced a second round of artists playing their mega tenth birthday celebrations, FBi Turns 10!, adding indie sweetheart Sarah Blasko, the electrifying Kirin J Callinan and snotty-nosed punks Bleeding Knees Club to the mammoth occasion.
The festival was already set to be one hell of an event, with exclusive performances for 2013 from Seekae, Decoder Ring and Thundamentals. They’ve now also added the kaleidoscopic pop joy of Deep Sea Arcade, FBi’s Northern Lights winner Oliver Tank, hip hop hero Katalyst, electronic adventurers Fishing and Sydney supergroup Naughty Rappers Collective.
The birthday festivities kick off at Carriageworks at midday on Sunday, 8th September with the show taking place over four stages. The first round of tickets have sold out and the second round are selling quickly, so we’d suggest getting on that quick smart to support the station that delivers opportunities for artists and punters alike to celebrate Australia’s diverse cultural scene.
