Feist Returns To Broken Social Scene Fold For New Album

Having spent the last little while focusing on a flourishing solo career, the incandescent Feist has announced plans to return from whence she came – her former outfit, Broken Social Scene.

Feist has confirmed that she will be reprising her role within the band for the next record. The news broke via Instagram where the songbird posted a photo of the gang from 2004.

No release date has been suggested for the record, yet, but it will be the first of its kind form the band since 2010’s Forgiveness Rock Record which Feist also appeared on.

Feist was a key ingredient in the band since it’s inception, appearing on their 2001 debut Feel Good Lost, then joining the band on the road between 2002 – 2005.

Since 2011, the band have been on one of the least successful hiatuses in recent memory, breaking it to perform on Jimmy Fallon in 2013 with Feist.

This news of Feist’s return means that the hiatus is nearing its end and hopefully we’re gifted with a new Broken Social Scene record soon.
