Just when you thought there was nothing more punk than The Night King spearing Viserion in the Wight Hunt last season, Fender are here for all your Game Of Thrones-inspired music needs with a line of guitars based on the hit HBO series.
There are three guitars available in the line, one for each of the three major houses – Stark, Lannister and Targaryen. The House Stark Telecaster will set you back $25,000USD, the House Lannister Jaguar will set you back $30,000USD and the House Targaryen Stratocaster comes in as the most expensive at a whopping $35,000USD.
“Ron Thorn at Fender has built three beautiful, GoT-inspired works of art, and you can out-shred your enemies with all of them,” Game Of Thrones co-showrunner D.B. Weiss said in a statement.
“The craftsmanship and attention to detail reminds me a lot of what we saw in our costume and armory shops, and on our sets. I hope these make a few other people 1/1000th as happy as they make me.”
This isn’t the only music-related GOT news that has dropped recently. An entire album inspired by the series, titled For The Throne, is dropping next Friday, and features new songs by The National, The Weeknd, Matt Bellamy, Mumford & Sons, SZA, Travis Scott and more.
