Boutique Tasmanian camping festival A Festival Called Panama has added even more names to its 2017 lineup, bolstering the Aussie contingent of its latest roster.
The festival’s final lineup announcement is headed by Melbourne duo Big Scary, who have had a huge year off the back of their third record Animal.
Heart-melter Emma Louise, soul queen Ngaiire, The Drones frontman Gareth Liddiard and newcomer Julia Jacklin have also been named on the final bill.
They’re joining a lineup which already includes the likes of Kurt Vile, Margaret Glaspy and D.D Dumbo, making it a pretty huge festival of some of the best alternative and indie rock names in the biz.
A Festival Called Panama 2017 is set to go down at the beginning of March next year, once again returning to its beautiful home in Tasmania’s north east. Just 1,400 punters are allowed through the gates, making it one of the most intimate festivals around, and providing a rare opportunity to see many of these acts with much less people around than normal.
