Field Day has announced that enigmatic US producer ZHU is joining its 2017 lineup.
ZHU will be joining Field Day’s already stacked roster, which also includes the likes of Chance The Rapper, Childish Gambino and MØ.
ZHU (full name Steven Zhu) was in the country back in June for a couple of shows, including Vivid Sydney, Curve Ball and Dark MOFO, but this will be the first time he’s been to Australia since the release of his debut album GENERATIONWHY.
This year, Zhu has also produced on the most recent AlunaGeorge record I Remember, laying down beats for My Blood. AlunaGeorge are also playing at Field Day next year, so it wouldn’t be crazy to expect an on-stage collab.
Now in its 16th year, Field Day will go down, as per usual, on New Year’s Day in Sydney’s The Domain. Tickets are on sale right now.
