After setting the festival scene abuzz with excitement following the first announcement of the brand new boutique and sustainable event, Mountain Sounds Festival have today dropped the second lineup with Melbourne’s World’s End Press at the top of the newest bill.
Also joining the pack are Central Coast locals, Sea Legs, Elliot The Bull and The Lazys, who spent much of 2013 recording in New York CIty. Five piece Sydney band Tropical Zombie have also been announced along with lo-wave duo Buzz Kull and indie rock trio Thieves.
The boutique affair has already attracted the likes of Cosmo’s Midnight, Jinja Safari, Snakadaktal and Emma Louise and a veritable plethora of other tasty indie outfits.
There’s also plenty of DJ action to help you get your boogie on, with SOSUEME DJs promising a crowd pleasing DJ set, plus Midnight Juggernauts and Canyons providing a set, as well as festival favourites Yacht Club DJs and Yolanda Be Cool.
Festival organisers promise even more for the day, from live artwork to cultural dancing and plenty of surprises along the way. All the while being driven by sustainable initiatives to reduce the event’s carbon footprint.
The first ever Mountain Sounds is set to take place at Mt Penang Gardens on the Central Coast of New South Wales on Saturday, 15th March, with limited first release tickets on sale now.
