First Act Announced For Party In The Paddock 2017

UPDATE 10/02/17: Paces has been announced as a replacement for New Zealand act Opiuo.

UPDATE 28/10/16: Festival organisers have unveiled the full Party In The Paddock lineup for 2017.

ORIGINAL STORY: Party In The Paddock festival has just revealed the first act confirmed for its 2017 lineup, and it’s a banger.

Gracing the stage in Burns Creek, Tasmania, Party in the Paddock have dropped the bomb that Hermitude are now locked in. This exciting news came soon after a ‘save the date’ announcement earlier this month, when the event announced its dates for February next year.

Hermitude have made huge strides over their 12 years of music making, releasing five killer albums and playing some huge shows. Since the release of their 2015 album Dark Night, Sweet Light, they have been nominated for seven ARIA awards and have played all over the worlds.

Back in Oz, they are set to play Southbound, Beyond the Valley, Yours & Owls and Field Day festivals in the near future, and now Party In The Paddock has been added to this impressive list. By the time February rolls around, the group’s live set will be so seamless you simply won’t know what hit you. These boys are super busy for a reason: they know how to bring the party.

Party In The Paddock is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, after starting out as a super-small 1000-person festival. Stay tuned for upcoming lineup announcements.
