One of Victoria’s most enduring and popular regional music festivals, Boogie, is back for 2022.
This year’s event will be held over the Easter long weekend, from Friday, 15th April – Sunday, 17th April. As ever, Boogie will take place at Our Friend’s Farm on the lands of the Taungurung in Tallarook, Victoria, roughly an hour north of Melbourne.
The first lineup announcement is here and it’s a biggie. Leading the way are Shepparton’s own Augie March, along with Australia’s finest manic punk band Tropical Fuck Storm, Fremantle psych-pop act Pond, the Tim Rogers-fronted Hard-Ons, guzheng master Mindy Meng Wang and many more.
The first lineup announcement includes two overseas acts: hard-rocking psychonauts Endless Boogie and soulful west coast rock crew Howlin Rain. More artists are to be announced.
Final release tickets are on sale now. They’re going for $399, which includes camping. Free shuttles will be available from Tallarook station to the festival site for those who choose to travel by train. See the full lineup below.
