Get ready gang, because the first round of 2019 Bluesfest sideshows have been announced and there are some absolute doozies.
Leading today’s announcement of sideshows is Ray Lamontagne, who is playing two massive headline dates in Sydney and Melbourne. Also on this announcement is George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, with what will be his final Australian tour.
Joining these two acts on this round of sideshows are Nahko & Medicine For The People, Arlo Guthrie, I’m With Her, Keb’Mo’, Trevor Hall, Vintage Trouble, Larkin Poe and The California Honeydrops.
Bluesfest is set to return to Byron Bay’s Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm in April. The festival’s first lineup announcement for 2019 has already come under intense criticism over its male-dominated roster, but more acts and sideshows are still to be announced.
