Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber’s Where Are Ü Now has been given the Florence + The Machine treatment, with the group slowing the mega-popular dance track down to a slow-grooving Florence-friendly ballad.
Florence + The Machine’s cover of Where Are Ü Now (below) sees frontwoman Florence Welch’s huge vocals take over the track, which originally spawned from Skrillex and Diplo’s Jack Ü project. There are also some classy backing vocals and a horn section to boot, as well as THAT GODDAMN HARP.
Florence + The Machine performed the cover during their recent Live Lounge session on BBC Radio 1 — a segment which recently saw English producer/dancer/singer FKA twigs cover Sia’s Elastic Heart.
Aside from their Where Are Ü Now cover, Florence + The Machine also performed tracks like Ship to Wreck, Sweet Nothing, What Kind of Man and Queen of Peace.
