Lil Pump, one of FOMO Festival’s headline acts for 2019, has told fans he is going to jail for “a couple months” after violating his probation in California.
The 18-year-old ‘Gucci Gang’ rapper, who is due to make his Australian debut at FOMO in January, took to Instagram today to tell fans he’s “gotta go in and do a couple months”, after being arrested in Miami last month for driving without a license.
Police also reportedly said the license plate on Lil Pump’s Rolls-Royce actually belonged to a Mini Cooper.
Describing his arrest as “some bullshit”, Pump told fans he’s still “got some crazy ass shit dropping” while he’s in prison, possibly alluding to his forthcoming mixtape Harvard Dropout.
FOMO Festival organisers declined to comment when contacted by Music Feeds, but in an Instagram story on Lil Pump’s account (below), his management wrote, “Pump’s socials are currently handled by his management. He’ll be back soon.
“Pump will be out before his tour starts.”
Lil Pump has previously been arrested for a firing a gun in his California home and lying to police.
