Former AC/DC Members Team Up For 2018 Bon Scott Tribute Tour

Late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott is set to be honoured by some of his former bandmates as part of a 2018 ‘Bon But Not Forgotten’ tribute tour of Australia.

Featuring former Acca Dacca members Simon Wright and Tony Currenti (Tony will perform in New South Wales only), the tour will also feature members of bands like The Angels and Electric Mary, and will hit venues in Perth, Yarraville, Melbourne, Sydney and Bateau Bay.

The tour is set to kick off in early July (around the time of Scott’s birthday) and will see musicians like The Angels’ and Choirboys’ James Morley, guitarist Phil Emmanuel and Rusty from Electric Mary perform some of AC/DC’s biggest hits and deepest cuts.

Supporting all New South Wales shows will be Melbourne’s Whole Lotta Rosie, who’ll be performing AC/DC’s classic album Back In Black in full. Supporting in Western Australia will be Livewire.

Bon Scott was recently honoured with a huge sculpture of his likeness in Melbourne’s AC/DC Lane.
