Since Fozzy are heading to Australia for Steel Panther and Buckcherry‘s Spreading The Disease 2013 tour, Chris Jericho figured “What the hell? Why not lock in some headlining tour dates as well?” And for that, Melbourne and Sydney thank him.
When the STD Tour wraps up on 12th December in Perth, Jericho and co. will be backing it up straightaway and returning to the east coast for a pair of shows on 13th and 14th December at The Espy and Manning Bar respectively. Addressing fans in regards to the two intimate dates, the band says:
“We love Australia so much that we decided five shows with Steel Panther & Buckcherry weren’t enough for us and our amazing Aussie fans! So we’re ending the tour with a bang by adding TWO HUGE headlining shows!! Sydney & Melbourne prepare to start your holidays by hanging with FOZZY at the ultimate party…it’s all you’re going to want for Christmas!!”
We caught up with Jericho in a recent Music Feeds Podcast where he waxed lyrical about the band’s swiftly growing Australian fan base. With that in mind, you might want to get to these smaller shows in case Fozzy graduate to a larger venue when they return.
